Prof. Yehuda Kahane
Chairman of the Board
Prof. Kahane is a senior member of faculty at the School of Management, Tel-Aviv University, and serves as the Head of the Akirov Institute for Business and the Environment. He has taught at major business schools including the Wharton School, University of Texas, University of Toronto, and University of Florida. He is a widely recognized authority in the areas of risk management, insurance, actuarial studies, and technological forecasting.
Prof. Kahane is the driving force behind numerous start-up enterprises in which he has been involved as founder, investor and manager: He is a major shareholder and director at Capital Point Ltd., a high-tech incubator (listed on TASE), and the co-founder, director and a major shareholder at Ituran, an international leader in remote vehicle monitoring (NASDAQ: ITRN, TASE). He also served as a board member at New Dimension Software (now BMC Israel).
Prof. Kahane has been elected to be the recipient of the 2011 John S. Bickley Founder's Award, which is the highest and most prestigious award in the insurance world.
Dr. Yoram Romem

Dr. Yoram Romem has more than 30 years of management experience in the global hi-tech industry. He has served as President, CEO and Chairman of international software companies, including Sapiens (NASDAQ: SPNS), ESI (acquired by Formula), Transtech (acquired by Formula), OmniVee (acquired by DVTel), and Profitect (a leading VC-backed global Enterprise Software company). He served as the CIO of the Israeli Air Force in the rank of colonel. Yoram was one of the founders of MobydoM, and he currently serves as a Chairman of several advanced hi-tech companies.
Yoram holds a B.Sc. Summa Cum Laude in Computer Sciences from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science from the Bar-Ilan University.
Michael (Miki) Ron
Board Member
Since 1999, Miki has been active in initiating and promoting Israeli technology startups in the medical device, biotechnology, communications and automotive fields. He has established and manages a startup investment club, and serves as an Executive Board Director in a technology incubator.
Miki held senior technological positions at the Israel Atomic Energy Commission, where he was employed for a period of 22 years. In his capacity as VP Technology in a large Israeli company, he was responsible for industrial projects involving renewable energy. Miki started and managed the company that imports and distributes the Japanese Mazda cars, which has become the largest and most profitable car business in Israel.
Miki taught at the Industrial Engineering and Management faculty, Ben-Gurion University for 10 years. He was the Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles for 5 years.
Miki holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Power Engineering, and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Dr. Shmuel Cabilly
Board Member
Shmuel is a highly regarded scientist and an experienced director. He was previously with several companies including Ethrog Biotech (Co-Founder and Chief Scientist) which was sold to Invitrogen. He graduated from the Hebrew University (Ph.D., Immunology), and was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the City of Hope Research Institute heading a joint City of Hope/Genentech project where he developed a new technology for recombinant antibody production.
Yoav Kahane

Mr. Kahane is leading a start-up company in the field of medical device while additionally offering business development services as a consultant. During the years 2006-2009, Mr. Kahane worked for Enzymotec and served as CEO of Advanced Lipids AB a joint venture of AAK AB and Enzymotec, specializing in nutritional ingredients to the gloabal infant nutrition industry.
During the years 2004-2005, Mr. Kahane served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Elbit Vision Systems Ltd.
Between the years 1996-2001 Mr. Kahane worked for Ituran Location and Control Ltd (NASDAQ: ITRN), location-based services provider, in various managerial positions. In 2000, Mr. Kahane established Ituran Florida Corp. and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2001.
Mr. Kahane holds BA degree in Life Sciences form Tel-Aviv University, a BA degree in Insurance and an MBA degree from the University of Haifa.
